A medical basic life support call was made to Ninth Street, where a man apparently in his 60s and under the influence was unconscious, employees reported that he “ate a bottle of pills.”

July 25

Police received a call from Ninth Street reporting that juveniles had damaged the property owner’s vinyl fence panels overnight. The caller stated that this is the third occurrence in as many days, and the tenth incident overall.

The victim’s son told the responding officer that word-of-mouth is that the involved person is on the football team, and the victim further added that the damage could be a result of the “Kool Aid Challenge.”

A 9mm pistol was lost in a men’s restroom on Ninth Street.

On Vans Avenue, an officer responded to a dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend, where the female caller reported her boyfriend was attempting to move her camper from her parent’s property. The caller was unable to provide a bill of sale to prove ownership and police informed her that due to the time period her boyfriend had lived in the trailer and on the property, she would be required to obtain an eviction from Justice Court to remove him as he had established residency. Another Ninth Street call reported six teenagers with a stolen Smith’s shopping cart destroying the dugouts at the park. The responding officer did not find any damage and suggested the juveniles leave the park for the day to avoid further conflict.

July 26

An officer investigated a suspected domestic dispute on Eighth Street concerning a woman attempting to flag down cars, possibly to get away from a man also in the area. The woman reported she was just looking for a lost cat. A 14-yearold boy on a bicycle was involved in a hit and run by a blue truck on Talbot, no injuries were reported. An anonymous caller reported a man in a new dark gray Toyota Rav 4 keeping beer in his center console.

July 27

Two alleged minors were reported walking southbound on First Avenue smoking a joint. A reckless driving incident on Talbot Road involved a silver four-door sedan swerving into the ditch a few times.

July 28

On Nucleus Avenue, a noise complaint was made for “a bunch of rowdy people being a bit too much.” A domestic disturbance was reported on Seventh Street, where a man was attempting to take his children who did not want to leave with him. Suspicious behavior was reported on Third Avenue of suspected drinking and drug use. A responding officer found the suspects smoking cigarettes with no needles present.

A suicide threat was called in on a man threatening to put a gun to his head and possibly intoxicated. Contact was made with the man who reported that he was having money troubles and his ex-girlfriend took their child. He was found to be under the influence, and said that he was OK and would call if he needed help. On Fifth Avenue, two women were reported to have been screaming at each other for about 10 minutes before separated. Theft by a female suspect who left on a red Harley Davidson Motorcycle on Ninth Avenue was reported.

July 29

A vehicular hit-and -run by a blond woman in her 50s in a small dark green Honda Pilot off of Highway 40 was reported and transferred to Montana Highway Patrol. Officers were advised of potential underage drinking and drug use at a party on Seventh Street, but were unable to locate such activity. A suicide threat was called in on First Avenue, when contacted the potential victim denied the allegation and hung up and was unable to be contacted again.

July 30

On Railroad Street, the woman involved in the domestic dispute on Vans Avenue was resting in her car to avoid her boyfriend in a business’s parking lot and asked to leave. Later in the day, her boyfriend collected personal items and left in a utility trailer following another dispute and was advised not to return without the assistance of the police and notified of his warrants with the city court. A 9-year-old girl with a mood disorder engaging in violent behavior required transportation to Logan Health Whitefish for mental health treatment. A female with a head injury from a car collision with a guard rail was transported to Logan Health.
